Robert Eugene Taxes

Robert Eugene Taxes, also known as Bob Taxes, passed away on January 15, 2024, in Port Angeles, WA, at the age of 65. He was born on October 29, 1958, in Tacoma, WA. Bob was a kind and patient individual, beloved by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his loving spouse, Jennifer Capehart-Mora, his sister, Debra Jacobson, and his stepson, Jacob Mora and grandson Jonah Mora and well as 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 5 great nieces, 1 great nephew and 2 great great nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Joyce Johnson, his father, William Morris Taxes, his brother, William Taxes, and Brenda Blankenship his sister.

Bob proudly served in the army from 1976 to 1979, demonstrating his commitment to his country. After his military service he worked many various jobs. Most recently Bob worked as a Schwan's route manager, and from 2017 until his passing, he served the community as a member of the Public Utility District.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports enthusiast. He found great joy in watching various sports events and cheering for his favorite teams.

A ceremony to celebrate Bob's life will be held on February 24th, from 1-3 PM, at the Sequim Elks. In honor of Bob's love for community and sharing, attendees are kindly requested to bring a dish to share.
