Phyllis Lucille Flohr, 83, slipped away to heaven Sunday, January 7, 2024. She died of complications of acute leukemia. Her last 13 months of life were difficult due to a stroke in November 2022.
Phyllis was born February 5, 1940 in Colorado to Clyde and Erma Bowen. She married Donald Flohr on February 5, 1955 in Colorado.
Phyllis enjoyed her family, especially children. She also enjoyed china painting, RV travel, collecting rocks with Donald and their friends and relatives in Arizona, fishing, jewelry making and cooking. While living in Alaska in the 1960s and 1970s, she was an avid snowmobile rider. She and Donald were married nearly 69 years.
Her survivors are her husband, Donald Flohr; children, Dawn (Greg) Zook, Phillip (Christina) Flohr and Ronald (Vickie) Flohr. She also is survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Joshua (Hannah) Zook and Hamish; Katie (Damon) Winters, Silas and Titus; and Andrew Zook. Ryan Flohr and Philly, Madison and Saylor; Naomi Flohr; Austin Flohr, Ellie Mae Flohr, Sawyer Flohr, and Oliver Flohr. Corie (Robert Pierce) Names; Kayce (Joel) Settlemeier and Jordan; Haley (Blake) Mitchell, Brayden and Tyler; Brianna (Brandon) Skipworth and Audrey; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Erma Bowen, and her sisters, Verda (Dale) Prangley and Margaret (Fred) Hardy.

Mom received outstanding care from dad, Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Dr. Eric Hempel in Sequim, Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim and the EMTs and paramedics of Clallam County Fire District #3. Our family is thankful.
